Julie’s Apartment My stay at Julie’s apartment was quite delightful. The apartment is the perfect space for one, with a spacious kitchen, beautiful dining room and living room spaces all big enough that allow you to rearrange as preferred. The bedroom and the bathroom are quite comfortable as well. The apartment is well furnished and is located within a beautiful green property, with some bamboo and a river in the back that you can hear after dark.  The dogs within the property are loving and ready to greet you as you get home. Julie is a lovely and attentive host, while also very respectful of your privacy. Cleaning and laundry were taken care of biweekly, on a weekly rotation. A more accurate location pin would be if you find CPA Costa Rica in google maps is around that area in the calle Porvenir. This means that getting to and from the property to downtown requires a short walk up a beautiful hill with a view. I recommend this space if you are comfortable with quietness and privacy, a more active routine including a short walk every morning and afternoon to the bus stop and especially if you are looking for a nature surrounded space.   Alejandra Altamirano EDP-SFS

Star rating 5 out of 5   I stayed with Julie McKinney. I stayed on one of her properties between December and June2024 and in another one from January until now. Julie is an extremely kind and helpful host. Anytime I needed help or we needed to find a solution for something, she was very ready to help me. She is welcoming and shows a lot of interest in the students staying with her. The property is incredibly beautiful and feels like a small oasis. However, you should be dog-friendly, since there are 5 dogs on the property. I enjoyed my stay with Julie and lived in different apartments on her property for and extended time.
