Apartment Rules

1. Respect and Coexistence

   • Guests are expected to maintain a calm and respectful environment, especially during quiet hours (a reasonable silence schedule should be observed).

2. Cleanliness

   • Guests must keep their room, bathroom, and common areas (kitchen, living room, laundry room) clean and tidy.

   • The kitchen must be left clean after use: wash dishes, sweep, and dispose of trash in the appropriate containers.

3. Use of Shared Spaces

   • Access to the kitchen, laundry room, and other common areas is for personal use; everyone is expected to respect turn-taking and avoid monopolizing these spaces.

   • Personal items (clothes, utensils, toiletries) should not be left in shared areas for long periods.

4. Visitors

   • Visitors are allowed, but must be approved by the host.

   • Study gatherings in the room are permitted as long as they are quiet, do not disturb neighbors, and end no later than 9:30 p.m. on weekdays.

   • The condominium has a recreational area (gardens and a social gathering ranch), but its use for social gatherings must be coordinated, requested, and approved by the host and apartment owner. Its use by the guest will depend on a separate agreement.

   • The guest is responsible for the behavior of their visitors and for ensuring they follow these rules.

5. Internet and Utilities

   • Internet access is provided; responsible use is required so that everyone can enjoy the service.

   • Modifying the infrastructure (such as routers) is not allowed without permission.

6. Bathrooms

   • The additional bathroom available for the guest must be used responsibly and kept clean.

   • Any damage, leaks, or malfunctions must be reported immediately to the host for repair.

7. Laundry

   • The washer and dryer may be used for personal laundry.

   • Clothes must be dried in designated areas and should not be left unattended after washing.

8. Safety

   • Doors and windows must be locked when leaving the apartment to protect everyone’s belongings.

   • The apartment key is for the exclusive use of the guest and may NOT be transferred to others (unless an emergency occurs, which must be reported to the host).

9. Smoking

   • The condominium does not have indoor smoking areas; smoking is only allowed in the designated area outside, which will be indicated by the host.

10. Trash and Waste

• Trash must be separated according to local guidelines (organic, recyclable, other) and placed in the appropriate containers.

• Do not leave accumulated trash or waste in the room or common areas.

11. Payment and Security Deposit

• Monthly payments must be made on the date agreed upon with the owner.

• The security deposit will be returned to the guest according to the conditions of return, which consider the room’s condition, cleanliness, and any potential damage.

• (According to UPEACE policies) The first portion of the payment may be required as a pre-payment to secure the reservation through the UPEACE Booking Portal.

12. Check-in and Check-out

• Please notify the host in advance of your estimated arrival and departure dates and times.

• Upon check-out, leave the space in reasonably clean condition (a “deep clean” is not required, but basic order and cleanliness are expected).

13. Damage Reports

• Any malfunction, defect, or damage (walls, furniture, appliances) must be reported immediately.

• Intentional damage is prohibited; if it occurs, the guest may be responsible for repair costs.

14. Housing Agreement Compliance

• Guests must follow the rules established in the housing contract and in the official Housing UPEACE documents.

• Subletting or transferring the room is not permitted without written authorization from the owner.
